THE NINE TOUR COMMANDMENTS

Read these rules very carefully, adhering to them will make your tour memorable. Strict adherence to the rules is mandatory and any breach will result in punishment.

1. Tour dress. Official RRFC/tour merchandise must be worn each day (up to at least 6pm) unless otherwise informed by Tour Organising Committee. The winner of the yellow “jersey” must wear it with distinction and pride on Saturday.

2. Time check. Left hand for drinking, right hand for penalties.

3. No Football behaviour (Double penalty applies) – loutishness, spitting, swearing, ungentlemanly behaviour qualify.

4. Tour golf. (Note: Only the official tour golf ball is permitted and official RRFC tourists allowed to participate). When the tour golf ball is dropped into a tourists glass then that tourist must consume the drink within 30 seconds. Control of the game travels with the ball. All members of the tour party MUST ensure that their drinking vessel can accommodate a standard sized golf ball.

5. Failing to introduce new friends to other tour members will be punishable offences.

6. Tour virgins. As part of the responsibility of a tour virgin he shall be required to entertain the more senior members of the tour party from time to time by singing 2 verses of his favourite song. The committee will appoint a senior tourist to conduct this vocal extravaganza.

7. Penalties shall be awarded at the discretion of the tour organising committee/ sub-committee, and shall take the form of drink penalties or monetary fines. The decision of the tour organising committee is final.

8. All liquid penalties must be drunk with an unemotional face - no grimacing, wincing or vomiting. All penalties must be consumed or paid in the good spirit of the tour.

9. The yellow “jersey”.

On Saturday morning the tour organising committee and sub-committee shall nominate individuals from the previous day and night who have excelled in the true spirit of tour. The nominees shall be put to a hand-count. The nominated tourist with the biggest count shall be “tour leader” for the day.

Please note the fines box is an unregistered charity and all proceeds will be spent on tour.
